Frequently asked questiona

Q : What are Machine Powder Brows?

A: Machine Powder Brows are a cosmetic procedure performed using a tattoo machine. This technique is used to create well-defined and polished-looking eyebrows that resemble a makeup-filled appearance. Powder brows can be customized in different styles, such as natural, dramatic, and Ombré. They are known for being a gentle and controlled method, which allows for enhanced color saturation, longer-lasting results, and excellent retention.

Q : What are Machine Nano Hair Stroke?

A: Machine Nano Hair Strokes are simulated hair strokes achieved with a tattoo machine, offering a less invasive alternative to manual microblading. This method ensures better pigment retention and more consistent pigment distribution in the skin's epidermal layer, while avoiding the risk of improper depth that can occur with manual microblading. It is a technically advanced but challenging technique, typically performed by highly skilled and experienced PMU artists.

Q : What are Combination Brows?

A: Combination Brows combine machine Nano Hair Strokes and Machine Powder shading into one technique, offering versatility. It can achieve both a natural, hyper-realistic look and a more dramatic, defined appearance, depending on your style preference. This technique blends faux hair strokes and shading to create a cohesive texture that integrates with your natural hair and new eyebrow shape. Combination brows are unique in providing a natural yet structured finish with the inclusion of hair strokes.

Q : What is PMU Eyeliner - Top, Bottom, Winged or Ombré?

PMU eyeliner comes in various styles and techniques, including top liner, bottom liner, Winged liner, and Ombré style, which offers a blended gradient and smudged eyeshadow appearance. It aims to replicate the look of traditional makeup using permanent pigments. However, it's important to note that permanent eyeliner cannot be applied to the inner rim of the eye (upper or lower) or the inner and outer corners due to the risk of irreversible pigment migration in these sensitive areas.

Q : What is PMU - Lip Ombre' or Lip Blush?

A: Lip Ombre' or lip blush are the same technique. They give the lips an appearance of a natural of color. Our permanent lip techniques give clients the ability to address and amend lip asymmetries, give fullness and/or poutiness to smaller or thinner lips, give more even color saturation or simply correct minor pigmentation issues or concerns.

Q : How Long Does PMU Last?

A : Permanent makeup can last between 1 to 5 years, with individual results varying based on several factors. Skin maturity, oiliness, dryness or texture, sun exposure.

Machine Nano Hair Strokes: Lasts between 1 to 3 years

Machine Powder Brows: Lasts between 3 to 4 years

Combination (Fusion) Brows: Lasts between 1 to 3 years

Top or lower Eyeliner: Lasts between 1 to 5 years

Lip Ombre'/ Lip Blush: Lasts between 1 to 3 years

Q : Does Permanent Make-Up Hurt?

A : Most of our clients have not found this procedure to be painful, but your experience will be based on your pain tolerance as well as your reaction or resistance to topical anesthetic. We do disclose that it is completely normal to feel some level of discomfort or pressure with the procedure regardless if numbing agents are utilized or not. On a discomfort scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the most uncomfortable, the vast majority of our clients rate permanent makeup services to be a 1 or 2 at most. But again, all opinions will vary, person to person.

Q : How Long Will It Take for PMU to Heal?

A : Most clients experience active healing for up to 10 days in form of scabbing and flaking, however, it can take the full 30 days for the skin to heal internally. Normal skin cells take approximately 28 days to renew or regenerate and pigment color saturation can take up to 4 to 6 weeks to settle into the skin.
